OBC Cell

The National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) is India's official constitutional body dedicated to the protection, welfare, and empowerment of Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBCs/OBCs). Originally established as a statutory body under the NCBC Act of 1993, it was elevated to full constitutional status in 2018 through the 102nd Constitutional Amendment Act, inserting Article 338B into the Indian Constitution.
